Summary of the reviews written by our editors; the reviews themselves are on Trustpilot.

Ratings are our editors’ scores from one public rubric (COA, price per mg, delivery, returns, vendor reputation). They are not customer reviews. How we review

Real Peptides lists three of the most-searched anti-aging peptides and compounds at $24.00 (epithalon, 10 mg), $43.20 (MOTS-c, 10 mg) and $60.00 (NAD+, multi-dose vial). Per mg, epithalon comes to $2.40 and MOTS-c to $4.32. None of these anti-aging peptides is FDA-approved as sold by research vendors, and none has controlled human trial evidence for slowing ageing.

The term "anti-aging peptide" comes from marketing and it does not exist in medicine. The three products which are under this term work differently - on different aspects of cell biology and have different regulatory histories. Here is a page where they are compared in terms of research, price and FDA status in 2026.

Three compounds, three different research targets

While Epithalon, MOTS-c, and NAD+ are frequently marketed together, research done for them is not the same. The most common error that can be made with regard to the three compounds is treating them as substitutes.

  • Epithalon is a synthetic tetrapeptide from Russian ageing research, studied mainly for telomerase activity in cells and lifespan in rodents.
  • MOTS-c is a mitochondria-derived peptide studied in metabolism and exercise research, mostly in animals.
  • NAD+ is not a peptide at all. It is a coenzyme found in every cell and central to energy metabolism; levels decline with age in many studies.

Vendors group them because buyers search for anti-aging peptides as a set, not because the science links them.

Prices and price per mg

Among the three substances we weigh against each other, Epithalon is the least expensive by mg. Given that the strength of the vial is not disclosed, we are unable to compare it with NAD+.

One vial of each Real Peptides product comes to $127.20, about half the $250 free-shipping threshold. Peptide God ships free in the US on orders over $100. Epithalon prices are broken down further on our vendor comparison page.

Epithalon: the telomere angle

The evidence for Epithalon rests on cellular research that found increased telomerase activity, animal studies showing it to increase lifespan and prevent tumors, and small studies conducted in Russia on older people. Peptide God itself states, however, that most of that evidence comes from older studies that are quite small.

Those findings are interesting and unconfirmed. No controlled human trial has shown epithalon slows ageing in people. We go through what the telomere work measured on our epithalon and telomeres page.

MOTS-c: the mitochondrial angle

In experimental research, MOTS-c has been examined as a signal from mitochondria that performs its function in cells' energy handling. The majority of studies focus on animal subjects, primarily in combination with exercise and metabolism.

Real Peptides lists MOTS-c Peptide as a 10 mg lyophilized vial with a third-party COA. Human data are early. Like epithalon, MOTS-c was recommended for the 503A bulks list by FDA's compounding advisory committee in July 2026, which is a recommendation and not an approval.

NAD+: the coenzyme angle

Out of the three, NAD+ is the most popular and comes as most widely available, sold as IV drips in clinics, as compounded prescription products in telehealth services and powdered product from research suppliers. Real Peptides produce their multi-dose vial of NAD+ for research purposes only and there is no need for consulting a physician in order to acquire it.

Most of the critical evidence regarding NAD+ has come from research involving animal and cell models. Evidence of the potential benefits for humans is still limited injectable NAD+, as in terms of energy- and aging-related claims, and the claims regarding weight loss are not supported by controlled human clinical trials. NMN and NR, both premesters, can be found in the form of dietary supplements. However, do not forget to check the latest legality status of NMN.

Regulatory status side by side

These anti-aging peptides are in different places with FDA, and the July 2026 committee meeting only addressed two of them.

  • Epithalon: recommended for the 503A bulks list on 24 July 2026, 7-4. Non-binding; not yet added.
  • MOTS-c: recommended on 23 July 2026, 8-6 with 1 abstention. Non-binding; not yet added.
  • NAD+: not part of that vote. Injectable NAD+ is not FDA-approved; prescription compounded versions are offered through telehealth with a physician intake.

For research buyers, all three remain research compounds. For anyone thinking about personal use, the right first step is a conversation with a doctor, not a vendor page. The FDA meeting is covered in full on our FDA 2026 page.

How we review. We compare each product on the vendor’s own page on the date shown: price, vial size, price per mg, stated purity and whether a batch-specific COA from a third-party lab is published. We do not run lab tests ourselves and we do not test peptides on people. Rankings are updated when prices or COAs change. Last checked: November 2026.
